Targeting the Enemy to Reverse Cancers: A General Summary of Effective Substances in Cancer Support
D.F. Flavin
The results observed from Dichloracetate (DCA) are impressive. DCA works with the mitochondria and reoxygenates tumors. Tumor cells, which are low in oxygen, rely on this condition to replicate. Research, such as studies conducted at Johns Hopkins University, has demonstrated that lowering oxygen levels causes normal cells to replicate. Reoxygenation from DCA may inhibit the replication of cancer cells. Additionally, Vitamin C infusions can either restore oxygen levels in cells or destroy cancerous ones through hydrogen peroxide formation.
However, hyperbaric chambers have not shown as much promise as methods that directly increase cellular oxygen. Substances like IP6, a natural supplement, can also help increase oxygen levels in cells.
Tumor cells feed on glutamine and methionine. Glutamine uptake can be blocked by fenbendazole (a dog heartworm drug gaining attention) and mebendazole (a flatworm drug). Fenbendazole also inhibits glucose uptake, a key growth factor, as sugar fuels tumor growth.
In advanced cases, itraconazole (100 mg twice daily) can block Hexokinase 2 (HK2), as identified by Pete Pederson at Johns Hopkins, and shift tumor metabolism toward glucose oxidation. Furthermore, fungi associated with tumors can be targeted with itraconazole or oregano oil.
Quercetin may suffice as an HK2 inhibitor in some cases. It is also critical to test for parasites and pathogenic bacteria to address microbiome imbalances and fight parasites, as pathogens often contribute to cancer development.
A high-fat diet is not recommended. Contrary to popular belief, the ketogenic diet is less effective than assumed. A plant-based diet lowers deuterium and methionine, reducing tumor stimulation while providing essential anticancer nutrients. Foods such as cherries and red grapes are particularly beneficial due to resveratrol and cherry extract, which inhibit xanthine oxidase.
Ivermectin downregulates cancer stem cells via the WNT pathway. Additionally, apricot seeds can reduce cancer stem cells due to their abscisic acid content (though laetrile lacks this compound). In some cases, cimetidine, a stomach antacid, is suggested for its histamine-lowering effects, which eliminate myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSC).
Beta-glucans and low-dose naltrexone (LDN) also reduce MDSC and boost immune function by suppressing FOXP3 and IL10, two immune-lowering agents. IL10 is elevated by Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV), highlighting the importance of addressing EBV and other viral infections. Antihistamines may be required to control histamine release by mast cells, which are linked to tumor growth. Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), a naturally occurring substance, can reduce mast cell activity and pain.
Metronomic dosing of cyclophosphamide (50 mg twice weekly for three weeks) or gemcitabine has been used to eliminate suppressor cells and enhance the immune system. After a four-week pause, this cycle can be repeated. Hormone-driven cancers, such as breast, ovarian, and prostate cancers, may benefit from indole-3-carbinol, which reduces estrogen levels. Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) is often implicated in tumor growth and immune evasion. Cannabidiol (CBD) reduces HCG levels, and genistein, a natural flavonoid, helps maintain elevated CBD levels while serving as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Retinoic acid (10 mg/day) also targets cancer stem cells and trophoblasts, which are harmful in cancer.
Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) lowers inducible nitric oxide synthase, an enzyme that promotes tumor growth. Mushrooms like shiitake, maitake, chaga, and turkey tail contain anticancer properties, such as betulinic acid and immune-modulating effects. Turkey tail mushrooms, for instance, can shift M2 lymphocytes to the M1 phenotype, which is anti-cancer. Utilin S, a homeopathic mycobacterium capsule (D6), can reduce tuberculosis-like bacteria linked to cancer (available from Helios Pharmacy, London).
An alkaline environment is crucial for combating cancer. Aluminum-free bicarbonate, both sodium and potassium forms, can be used in baths, foot baths, or consumed in small amounts to maintain an alkaline pH. Mistletoe therapy (Helixor) has shown promise in reestablishing healthy cellular frequencies and has been effective against advanced-stage cancers, including breast, colon, lung, and endometrial cancers. Sarcomas, however, remain more challenging due to their complexity.
In conclusion, numerous substances can inhibit tumor growth and save lives. Single treatments are often insufficient; combination approaches are typically required for successful outcomes. Above all, care for patients includes prayer and faith, recognizing the divine role in the healing process.
